Before we plan, tell us about a normal day at home
Who works from home, whether small children have a nap, whether there is a dog that must never find a door open. Then we agree where to start, which area is closed off each time, how the rest is protected from dust and where furniture and materials go. Working hours fit your routine and respect the municipal noise ordinance.
Group rooms so the disruption is shorter
Where the kitchen and bathroom share a wall or pipe runs, doing one straight after the other usually pays off. If there are two bathrooms, we renovate one at a time so there is always one you can use. While the kitchen is out of action, we discuss where you can set up a basic one: fridge, microwave and a water supply close by.
Work that is better done with the house empty
Some work does not sit well with a lived-in home, and we say so at the start. With the whole floor up, there is nowhere to walk. Replacing all the wiring or plumbing, or renovating the only bathroom, leaves the house without power, water or a bathroom for a while. We suggest doing that work in a period you can spend elsewhere.

Can we stay in the house during the renovation?
Yes, as long as the work can move through the house area by area and a bathroom, water and power stay in use. Where the scope rules that out, we tell you at the visit, before you decide.
What if we only have one bathroom?
For part of the job the house will have no bathroom, and that needs solving before work starts. It is worth arranging an alternative for that stretch and choosing every material beforehand, so that no pending decision prolongs it.
Do you cover Ribes, les Roquetes and the residential estates (urbanisations)?
Yes, we cover the whole municipality from Vilafranca del Penedès: Ribes, les Roquetes, Puigmoltó, la Vilanoveta and estates like Mas Alba, Vallpineda, Els Cards and Rocamar. Tell us where the house is and whether you will stay in it.
