What’s behind the walls matters too
Plumbing
Water, where you need it.
Replacing a tap, renewing pipework or moving a basin means looking at what is behind it. At A.BEC, we handle plumbing for your home: we review the existing connections and define the changes around how you use the space and the layout you want.

A renovation that works for you
Your kitchen and bathroom connections
The position of a sink, basin or shower affects the water supply and waste connections. We review your current layout and the changes you want to work out which connections stay and which need moving. We also consider the taps and bathroom fittings you would like to install.
What needs replacing and what can stay
Before proposing a replacement, we check the condition of the existing plumbing and access to the pipes. We define which sections and connections are included, together with the materials and fittings to be kept. That helps you assess the scope of a small change or a more extensive update.
Plan plumbing and finishes together
Moving a connection can affect a wall, cabinet or tiled surface. We consider this when preparing the proposal and agree which work to open up and refinish those areas is included. If you are living in the property, we also discuss arrangements for any periods when the water needs to be turned off.
WE KNOW YOU HAVE QUESTIONS
Questions about this service
Can I replace a tap or bathroom fitting without renovating the whole room?
Yes, we can look at a smaller job. We need to know what you want to replace, its connections and the space available. A few photos are a useful start; checking the existing plumbing helps establish whether any surrounding work is needed.
Can a kitchen sink, basin or shower be moved?
That depends on the layout, pipe routes and existing waste connections. A visit helps us assess what is possible and which surfaces would need to be opened up or refinished. It is worth checking this before finalising the position of cabinets and bathroom fittings.
Does a renovation mean replacing all the pipework?
We do not assume it does. We assess the condition of the existing plumbing, access and the changes you want to make. The proposal should distinguish between pipework to be replaced and pipework that stays, and account for any finishes affected by the work.
